Multnomah Whiskey Library, Portland,OR

Alrighttttt lets go to one of my favorite cities I've visited! Edwin and I decided for our birthdays we would choose random cities we had not visited and book flights and go! Um best freaking idea ever! Im so excited even typing that because I cant wait to continue to do these fun "Hey lets just go" trips! One night we ended up at Multnomah Whiskey Library! Never have I entered a bar and was left speechless. It is a membership speakeasy but you can get a hall pass to go so we did just that. The wait was maybe half an hour or so nothing bad and it went by so fast because they had us wait inside The Green Room downstairs. I lovveeeedddd The Green Room because well Emerald Green is my favorite color but it was so beautiful the walls were emerald green colored the tile on the wall was emerald green it was legit a Green Room! They were playing some 2000's hip hop which just made it so much better! When it was finally our turn to go upstairs to the library the minute the main door opened my mouth dropped at how many alcohol bottles were lined up on the walls. From what the mixologist stated it was over 1800 bottles!!! The walls had ladders that would slide from one end to another to allow the mixologist to grab whatever bottle they needed and they would put the bottle back perfect to make sure nothing became unorganized! We sat at the bar and ate some of the yummiest bread and butter and enjoyed some delicious cocktails. The mixologist that were mixing for those sitting around the library had there own bar carts they would take with them to make the drinks. The decor legit looked like a library and it was not small it was pretty big inside. If you are ever in the Portland area make your way to this amazing speakeasy!
